Concessions are taking many forms\u2014help with repairs, covering some closing costs, or even mortgage-rate buydowns\u2014offering buyers more flexibility to reduce their overall costs, beyond just a lower sale price. In fact, about 16% of homes sold in mid-Q3 paired a price reduction with a concession, giving buyers even more ways to make that first step into homeownership a little easier.
